Public input is an essential part of this process. The City is committed to making this transition open and inclusive, with five public meetings scheduled to gather feedback from the community. Here are some ways you can participate:
- Draw and submit a map! Use the Districtr tool to draw and submit maps identifying where you believe district boundaries should be drawn. These maps will be considered by the City Council alongside those drawn by the demographer for adoption. Draw and submit your map (here)
- Provide your comments on your Community of Interest (learn more)
- Attend one of Sonoma City Council's public meetings (see timeline)
- Submit a public comment via our CivicWeb Portal (here)
- Submitted public comment can be viewed on the City's CivicWeb Portal here.
