Lighted Tractor Parade Street Closures

We wanted to inform you about an exciting event taking place in the plaza this Saturday—the Vintners and Growers Alliance Lighted Tractor Parade. Please see below for details and street closures for this unique celebration.

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, December 2nd

Schedule & Parade Route:

• 6:00 PM – Tractors begin the parade at the Veterans Building Parking Lot, exiting on 1^st Street East and traveling south on 1st Street East, right turn onto East Napa Street, and a right turn into the Sonoma Plaza Horseshoe.
• 6:15 – 6:30 PM – Tractors and floats will pull into the Plaza Horseshoe, allowing the community to get a closer look.
• 7:15 PM – The parade will exit the Plaza Horseshoe. Tractors will turn left onto East Napa Street, left on 1^st Street East, and return to the Veterans Building Parking Lot.

Street Closures: 1^st Street East between Blue Wing Drive and Napa Street, and East Napa Street between 1^st Street East and Broadway will close fully in both directions during the parade. Although the streets will not be designated as no-parking zones, officers will be on-site to guide individuals and prevent any unsafe movements during the event.

Timing: The rolling street closure is anticipated to be less than 20 minutes. The parade will move smoothly through the designated route, and normal traffic flow will resume as soon as the last float passes by.
