Just a reminder that our volunteer workday at Valley Cemetery is coming up this Saturday, September 21st, from 9 AM to 12 Noon. If you haven’t signed up yet, there’s still time! Register via Eventbrite to help us prepare and ensure we have the necessary resources. You’re welcome to join for as long as you can—there’s no need to stay for the entire event.
Location: 425 East MacArthur Street, between Oak Lane and Fourth Street East (map)
Activities: Our tasks will include landscape revitalization, weed control, and other important maintenance work. No experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm!
What to Wear: Sturdy closed-toe shoes, long pants, long-sleeved shirts, and gloves are recommended. Don’t forget sun protection like a hat or sunglasses.
Parking: Parking is available inside the cemetery for volunteers. Enter through the main entrance and follow the signs to the southwest section.
