(updated 11/6/17) The Sonoma Ecology Center has added a Fire Recovery information section to their website, addressing the healing and recovery of land after the fires. Topics include toxic run-off, the post-fire landscape, burned tree care, erosion control, reseeding, and more.
The Ecology Center is also posting updates and information about restoration of Sugarloaf State Park at the Team Sugarloaf facebook page. They estimate that three-fourths of the Park was impacted by the Nuns Fire.
