Please be advised that East Napa Street between 1st Street East and 2nd Street East will be closed on August 18, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for the Bench Dedication Ceremony in honor of Ada Limón, 24th Poet Laureate of the United States.
LOCATION: E Napa St between First St E and 139 E Napa St. The public lot and the driveway between 139 & 141 E Napa St will remain open to local traffic.
REASON: Bench Dedication Ceremony at Readers’ Books (130 E Napa St) in honor of the 24th U.S. Poet Laureate, Ada Limón.
DURATION: Friday, August 18th from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
ACCESS: The section of the road noted above will be closed to all parked cars and through traffic. Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and media vehicles.
SUGGESTED ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Traffic will be rerouted to First Street East, East Spain Street, Second Street East, and vice versa.
