The City of Sonoma’s Cultural and Fine Arts Commission is thrilled to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 Treasure Artist of the Year Award! This prestigious award, established in 1983, honors outstanding artists in the performing, visual, or literary arts who have made significant contributions to the Sonoma Valley community.

If you know an exceptional artist who lives within the boundaries of the Sonoma Valley Unified School District and deserves this recognition, we encourage you to submit a nomination. Nominations can be submitted online or in writing and will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2024.

Important Note: In the past, we received several letters of support for certain nominations. Please remember that letters of support alone will not be considered. A full nomination is required for each artist, but you are welcome to submit multiple nominations for the same individual.

  • A description of the artist’s work.
  • Photos or a portfolio link.
