The City of Sonoma is thrilled to kick off nominations for the prestigious title of Honorary Alcalde 2024. Open to the public, we encourage community members to propose worthy candidates for this esteemed recognition.
Nomination Deadline: January 12, 2024, 5:00 p.m.
Since 1975, the City Council has annually selected outstanding citizens for the title of Honorary Alcalde, honoring exemplary commitment to the community through voluntary service, leadership, and impactful projects.

Nominee Criteria:
- Reside in the City of Sonoma or Sonoma Valley
- Individual or couple
- Demonstrate achievements in community service, nonprofit leadership, impactful projects, behind-the-scenes good deeds, and adherence to high moral values.
