Earlier today, the City received a request from the project applicants to postpone the City Council hearing on the Cheese Factory appeal.
This request is being made to allow the time for the applicants to review and assess the large volume of material recently submitted by the appellants. Because of the complexity of the issues involved, City staff concurs that that allowing all parties concerned an opportunity to fully consider the materials that have been presented will benefit the process. Therefore, the hearing scheduled for July 30th has been cancelled.
A new hearing date has not been set, but it will be subject to the concurrence of the appellants and the applicants and will be subject to the City’s 20-public notice requirement.
