For the first time ever, arts organizations across Sonoma Valley have joined together to keep our community inspired and connected through creating and sharing art during the COVID-19 pandemic and shelter-in-place order.  The new Sonoma Valley Arts Task Force has worked collaboratively to launch Heart of Sonoma, a community-wide art project to encourage community spirit and inclusiveness through easy and fun community action..

Simply use prompts as inspiration to create art from materials on hand. Prompts incorporate a variety of creative and performing arts including (but not limited to!) dance, writing, theater, music, sculpture and painting. All are encouraged to participate, you don’t have to be an artist to join in the fun! 

Participants are encouraged their share creations by:

•   Displaying it at your residence or business;
•   Post an image or recording on the Heart of Sonoma Facebook Page; and/or
•   Post it on social media with the hashtag #heARTofSONOMA and we’ll share it on the Heart of Sonoma @HeartofSonoma Facebook page and @heart.of.sonoma Instagram feed for the community to enjoy.
