Do you wish you knew more about gardening in a changing climate? This workshop, presented by Master Gardeners Sharon Mascia and Ellen Scarr, and assisted by Sonoma Ecology Center’s Native Plant Nursery Manager Hannah Aclufi, will focus on the efficient use of water in order to plant and maintain a beautiful, sustainable garden in the North Bay Area.

Topics covered will include where our water comes from, how and when to water, waterwise and California native plants, the role of soil health in conserving water, mulching, and conservative use of water for vegetable gardens.

This workshop is put on through a collaboration between Sonoma Ecology Center and the UC Master Gardeners of Sonoma County. In case of rain, the workshop will be rescheduled. For questions, please contact Hannah at hannah@sonomaecologycenter.org.

Please RSVP.
