Planning Commission Meeting

The Planning Commission will meet on Thursday, November 20th at 6:00 p.m. The agenda includes a request from the Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance to install banners on Plaza light poles, along with a sign permit application for 35 West Napa Street. Commissioners will also consider recommending City Council adoption of two Housing Element implementation ordinances. The meeting will conclude with a study session on proposed updates to the City’s Sign Ordinance.
The Planning Commission meets regularly at the City Council Chambers, 177 First St. West, and meetings are broadcast on Channel 27 and available for live streaming on the City’s CivicWeb portal. An agenda detailing the items to be discussed will be posted to the CivicWeb portal at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting.
Public Comment
Members of the public are encouraged to participate in Commission meetings by attending in person or submitting comments online through the public comment form on the City’s CivicWeb portal. Comments submitted in advance will be uploaded to the public correspondence folder on the CivicWeb portal for review prior to the meeting but will not be read aloud during the meeting.
