Día de los Muertos Festival 2021

Collectively- VIDA Cultural Arts and La Luz Center will be presenting educational community inclusive workshops through the month of October that will lead up to a day-long Día De Los Muertos Festival- November 6th, 2021 at the Sonoma Plaza. Our aim in cross-organizational collaboration is designed for the further inclusion of different cultures and backgrounds with the goal to educate, unite our community, and to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Mexico and the Sonoma Valley.

The day-long festival will honor our loved ones who have passed with community altars, celebrate with delicious authentic Mexican food, sing, and dance to the live Mariachi band, and cheers to life with a delicious beverage from our Cantina Garden. Attendees will also have an opportunity to enter our Catrina/Catrin contest, visit our Mercadito which will feature small Latinx business owner pop-ups, participate in arts & crafts, and much more!
