Climate Action Commission Meeting

At its upcoming meeting, the Climate Action Commission will select a Chair and Vice-Chair for 2025, receive a presentation from Sonoma Clean Power and discuss reports from various ad-hoc committees focused on climate action strategies, including education, grants, trees, buildings, and transportation. Additionally, there will be updates from the Director, announcements about a special meeting in March, and a report on vegetation climate classification for the City of Sonoma from Commissioner McCloskey. The Climate Action Commission meets regularly at the City Council Chambers, 177 First St. West, and meetings are broadcast on Channel 27 and available for live streaming on the City’s CivicWeb portal.
Members of the public are encouraged to participate in Commission meetings by attending in person or submitting comments online through the public comment form on the City’s CivicWeb portal. Comments submitted in advance will be uploaded to the public correspondence folder on the CivicWeb portal for review prior to the meeting but will not be read aloud during the meeting.
