Annual Children’s Easter Egg Hunt – Historic Sonoma Plaza
This free event sponsored by Soroptimist International of Sonoma Valley for the last 40 years is the fastest Egg Hunt in town! Start date and time this year is Saturday 4/19/25 is at 10:00 a.m. Do not be late because all the eggs are gone within minutes. Stuffed by Soroptimist volunteers and Teen Services teens are over 3500 eggs hidden in the NW and NE quadrants of the Plaza. These 4 sections are taped off with ages from 2-10. Children are invited to fill their baskets (brought from home) with the eggs they find. In each segment is a prize egg, which if found, is turned in for a special basket. Peter Rabbit makes a special appearance and parents can have their children visit him after the Egg Hunt and take a picture. Peter Rabbit is busy Easter Bunny, so his time is limited, and he hops off the Plaza by 10:45 a.m. This is a community event, and all are welcome.
Be sure to arrive early to have your pictures taken with the Peter Rabbit.
Appropriate for walking toddlers thru children 10 years old.
