Emergency Warming Center to Open Overnight March 1st, 2nd & 3rd

Freezing temperatures are expected this weekend and in response, the City of Sonoma is opening a temporary Emergency Warming Center in the Haven parking lot starting Friday, March 1, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., and will remain operational overnight through Monday, March 4th at 7:00 a.m.

What to Expect:

  • ๐Ÿ›Œ Cots for sleeping provided
  • ๐Ÿ”Œ Charging station for personal electronic devices
  • ๐Ÿ Light snacks and beverages available
  • ๐Ÿ• Service animals allowed; Well-behaved pets may be allowed (Manager’s discretion)
  • ๐Ÿ“ข Updates on extended hours due to extreme weather on the City’s website

Important Notes:

  • ๐Ÿ•– Arrival between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
  • โŒ No reentry if leaving before 7:00 a.m.
  • ๐Ÿ“‹ Must be listed on the “by-name list” system
