With overnight temperatures expected to drop to freezing (32°F or below) in the coming days, the Emergency Warming Center in the City of Sonoma will remain open through Tuesday, February 11, at 7:00 a.m. The center, located at the City of Sonoma Emergency Homeless Shelter (formerly “The Haven”), offers a warm, safe place to stay overnight for individuals experiencing homelessness or lacking heat.
This extension follows National Weather Service forecasts predicting continued freezing temperatures and wet conditions, which create an increased risk for those without shelter.
