Nathanson Creek Preserve is a demonstration garden of native plants, with pathways, benches and picnic tables, near the corner of E. MacArthur St and 2nd St. East.
The garden, a project of the Sonoma Ecology Center, connects with a 0.5 mile creekside paved walking and biking path that also adjoins the high school athletic field complex, and leads to Nathanson Creek Park. Nearby, an observation area for the constructed overflow channel on Nathanson Creek is located at 120 E. MacArthur, west of Austin Ave.
