City of Sonoma Requests Qualifications for Historic Resource Evaluations

The City of Sonoma is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified firms or individuals to join a panel providing historic preservation services. These services will assist planning staff and City Commissions in evaluating historic resources in the city.

Key Information:

The selected consultants will be expected to provide the following services:

  • Site visits and historic resource evaluations (HRE)
  • Architectural descriptions and integrity analyses of properties
  • Research on property occupants, architects, and builders
  • Evaluation of properties for compliance with local and national preservation standards
  • Recordation on State of California forms when necessary
  • Peer review of submitted evaluations

Submission Details:

  • Proposal Submission Deadline: January 14, 2024, by 5:00 p.m.
  • Inquiries Deadline: December 18, 2024
