Join us as we kick off Sonoma’s Tuesday Night Market season on May 7th at Sonoma Plaza. The opening program starts at 5:00 p.m. with welcoming remarks, a preview of this season’s offerings, and recognition of the 2024 Earth Day Photography Contest winner.
Live entertainment, including a Celebration Dance Night for KSVY’s 20th anniversary, begins at 6:00 p.m. Presented by the City of Sonoma in partnership with the Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce, the market runs weekly from May through September, with live music starting at 6:00 p.m. in front of Sonoma City Hall. Pedal to Freshness! Introducing Bike Bucks
“Bike Bucks”! Starting May 7th, cyclists will be rewarded for choosing eco-friendly transportation to the market with wooden coins worth $1 each, redeemable exclusively for fresh, seasonal produce.
How It Works:
- Ride to Redeem: Cruise on over to the market and park your bike at our convenient bike valet, located behind City Hall near the “Big Kids” playground
- Grab Your Buck: Once parked, receive your Bike Buck—a wooden coin valued at $1—as a token of appreciation for your pedal-powered journey.
- Savor the Freshness: Explore the market and use your Bike Bucks to purchase a bounty of farm-fresh fruits and vegetables. Please note: Bike Bucks are exclusively valid for produce items; artisan goods, prepared/packaged foods, and alcohol are not eligible for purchase with Bike Bucks. Plus, no change will be given for transactions made with Bike Bucks, so be sure to maximize your pedal-powered purchasing power!

No Pets Allowed in Plaza or Market, Except for Service Animals
In compliance with the California Health and Safety Code § 114.259.5, we wish to remind everyone that pets, excluding trained service animals, are not permitted within the premises of the Sonoma’s Tuesday Night Farmers Market or in the Sonoma Plaza.
The Sonoma’s Tuesday Night Farmers Market is not only a bustling marketplace but also classified as a food facility, similar to grocery stores and restaurants. This designation underscores the necessity for stringent health and safety regulations, including the prohibition of pets on the premises.
Service Animals Are Welcome
We wholeheartedly welcome trained service animals into our space. These animals play a crucial role in supporting individuals with disabilities, ensuring their equal access and participation within our community.
Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) and Therapy Dogs, while providing invaluable support to their owners, do not qualify as ADA Service Animals under California law.
