We are thrilled to reveal Charissa Drengsen as the winner of the 2024 Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival Poster Contest! Charissa, a fifth-generation Northern Californian, has crafted a remarkable design that perfectly captures this year’s festival theme: “The Year of the Farmer.”
The poster contest, a cherished tradition in our festival’s history, invited artists to submit their unique visions of Sonoma Valley’s vibrant heritage and scenic beauty. Charissa’s innovative blend of digital art, collage, and hand illustration stood out, earning her the top honor.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the talented artists who entered the contest. Your creativity and dedication contributed to making this year’s competition truly exceptional. All submissions will be displayed in the Sonoma City Council Chambers, with the date for the exhibit to be announced soon.
Charissa, who is based in Sonoma County, is not only an accomplished artist but also a devoted Career and Education Counselor, actively enriching our community. Her winning artwork will be featured as the official poster for the 127th Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival.
